The Association is open to anyone residing in Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, it is a friendly society which is run for the benefit of its members. A shop is run to provide low cost garden consumables for members only.
BSAGA does not directly manage any allotments, although the Town Council invites its cooperation in the management of its allotments.
The desire of the existing committee beyond the continued existence of the Association as a friendly organization is to renew and refresh the society to make it an active and democratically representative voice for all Allotment plot-holders. To that end if you hold an allotment from Bishop's Stortford Town Council then please do join us.
If you do not have an allotment, but live in Bishop's Stortford and are interested in gardening then consider joining for our social side and the use of our shop.
Our annual show is small but diverse, join us and enter our show.
